Earlier this month Google rolled out Android 10. A few days later, OnePlus turned out open beta version update for Android 10 on OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro smartphones. Then it has received Android 10 beta 2 version update. Now, OnePlus has started rolling out the stable version of Android 10 which is also known as OxygenOS 10.0 on these two devices.
List of changes coming to Android 10 on OnePlus 7 and the OnePlus 7 Pro:
System: This includes a new redesigned user interface, enhanced location permissions for privacy, and new customization feature in Settings allowing users to choose icon shapes to be displayed in the Quick Settings.
Full-Screen Gestures: This includes inward swipes from the left or right edge of the screen to go back and a bottom navigation bar to allow switching left or right for recent apps.

As per the oneplus forum, both devices will receive an OxygenOS 10.0 update but it will take a few days or weeks to reach every user.”The OTA will be received by a limited number of users today and will have a broader rollout in a few days after making sure there are no critical bugs,” OnePlus said on its community forum. Using VPN to download this build might not work as the rollout Is not based on regions and is randomly pushed out to a limited number of devices,” the OnePlus wrote in its community forum.
Methods: How To Update OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro To Android 10|OxygenOS 10.0
There are three different ways to Update. So, if you are too impatient to wait for OnePlus servers to push the OTA update, you can install the latest update by following the methods given below.
1. Install Through The Built-in Android Updater
The first best option to get the OxygenOS 10.0 update is through the OTA. If your phone is running on older like OxygenOS 9, you need to wait for version 10 to roll out via OTA update. However, this process can take a few days or even weeks, depending on the success of the previously staged rollout.
2. Update Via Oxygen Updater
This method is for those who don’t want to wait for days or weeks to get the latest update. Few OnePlus 7 users have reported that the OxygenOS 10 is available for download on Oxygen Updater Android app. What’s more exciting is that the OxygenOS 10 is now available for all OnePlus users through Oxygen Updater.
3. Manual Method
The last option requires lots of manual work and its little bit risky. In this method, users need to download the OxygenOS 10 stable Zip files from this link(https://piunikaweb.com/2019/09/21/oneplus-7-7-pro-oxygenos-10-0-android-10-stable-update/) and then install it on the device. For detailed instructions on how to install zip files, one can follow the directions outlined by the OnePlus(https://support.oneplus.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/30/related/1).
Well, if your phone is running on Android 10 Beta 2, then you will be asked to factory reset your smartphone. Without a factory data reset, the OxygenOS 10 won’t install. So, make sure to properly back up your device before you attempt to install OxygenOS 10.
